Job Summary
This role requires a unique blend of creative and business skills, combined with the ability to deliver results-driven marketing campaigns. As a Manager, Integrated Marketing & Synergy, you will manage the execution of synergy initiatives and custom multi-platform promotions to drive awareness, engagement, and interest for Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures and Disney Plus. You will work closely with our Director to develop overall marketing plans, lead partnership promotions, and oversee publicity efforts across synergy partners.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the Director to develop overall marketing plans for theatrical/streaming/in-home releases, ensuring alignment with studio goals and objectives.
- Lead partnership promotions, including creative direction, creative development, script writing, shoot coverage, and logistics, to deliver custom materials on campaign projects.
- Develop social and digital plans for custom promotional content, leveraging emerging media and new technology platforms.
- Oversee publicity efforts across synergy partners, including planning and coverage of junkets, red carpets, and talk show custom activations.
- Guide the development of internal presentations and executive-facing documents, working with the team specialist and coordinator to execute.
- Run point on building and coordinating updates on legal agreements with internal and partner legal teams.
- Provide on-set shoot coverage as needed, ensuring seamless execution of marketing campaigns.
- Represent our team in internal marketing meetings and present to filmmakers as needed, showcasing marketing plans and creative concepts.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key partners across TWDC and with external media networks, fostering collaborative partnerships.
- Liaise with related departments to execute marketing plans, ensuring alignment and effective communication.
- Ensure plan/execution details are updated weekly within marketing briefs/plans/production/delivery charts, keeping the team and relevant departments informed.
- Work with the Director to ensure all budgets and reporting documents are up to date and accurate, providing transparent financial management.
- Present upcoming film slate to synergy partners and external media networks, showcasing our studio's exciting projects.
- Pitch creative concepts to the Director, partners, and secure film promotions, driving innovative marketing solutions.
- Participate in internal idea generation for film releases, contributing to the development of creative marketing campaigns.
- Lead brainstorming sessions with Select Partners, fostering collaborative innovation.
- Participate in strategy development and idea generation, driving marketing excellence.
- Execute added value promotions with external media networks, under the direction of the Director, to amplify marketing reach.
- Take on additional projects as needed, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements
Education and Experience
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience in a relevant field.
- 4+ years of relevant experience in integrated marketing, production, or a related field, demonstrating a strong understanding of production processes and marketing principles.
Skills and Competencies
- Demonstrated project management skills for marketing executions, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
- Strong broadcast and online experience, with familiarity with emerging media and new technology platforms.
- Outstanding communication skills, written and oral, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Demonstrated ability to work with others as a collaborative team player, fostering a positive and inclusive work environment.
- Experience working with in-show integrations a plus, with understanding of production elements and creative storytelling.
What We Offer
Compensation and Benefits
We offer a competitive salary range of $76,900 to $126,200 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. In addition, you will be eligible for a bonus and/or long-term incentive units, as well as a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, financial, and other benefits.
