Key Responsibilities
- Load, unload, prepare, inspect, re-fuel, and safely operate company-provided transport vehicles, including Extended Cargo Vans and Freightliner Step Vans.
- Deliver packages on varying routes to numerous addresses, both business and residential, with a high level of accuracy and efficiency.
- Follow strict safety standards on and off the road, adhering to Amazon's safety protocols and guidelines.
- Interact with Amazon customers and the public in a professional and positive manner, providing exceptional customer service and resolving any issues that may arise.
- Use handheld technology to manage the delivery process, track packages, and perform vehicle safety and maintenance procedures.
- Help team members with their deliveries if you finish early and they're running behind.
Essential Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you'll need:
- To be at least 21 years of age with a valid driver's license.
- To be eligible to work in the U.S.
- The ability to lift packages up to 50 lbs and get in and out of a van quickly and often throughout a route.
- The ability to operate and navigate a delivery van.
