Job Overview
We're seeking an experienced and motivated Salesperson and Certified Student Coach to join our dynamic team on a full-time remote basis. As a 1099 Salesperson and Certified Student Coach, you'll be responsible for promoting our coaching programs to families and delivering one-on-one coaching to students and young adults. You'll have the opportunity to build your own business, develop your coaching skills, and make a meaningful difference in the lives of your clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Generate leads and prospect through our established relationships to promote our student coaching programs.
- Coach students individually, providing goal setting, accountability, and personalized guidance on topics such as vision and goal setting, time management, and emotional intelligence.
- Build relationships with centers of influence and potential referral partners to expand your network and grow your business.
- Manage your own sales territory, set ambitious goals, and continuously grow your sales and coaching skills.
- Utilize our proven scripts, systems, coaching certification, and training to develop your business and deliver exceptional results.
Essential Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
- A strong academic record of accomplishment (GPA over 3.0, proof of extracurriculars, etc.) or a strong professional track record (built a business, leadership role, etc.).
- Excellent one-on-one communication skills to deliver customized and individual coaching.
- Effective communication and presentation skills to promote our coaching programs.
- A passion for sales and making a positive impact on students' lives.
- The ability to work independently and manage your time effectively in a remote setting.
- Experience working with youth in a coaching or mentoring capacity.
- A willingness to work 8-9 hours/day, 40 hours/week, and travel a minimum of two weeks each year to our company headquarters in Nashville, TN.
- A designated, uninterrupted workspace (home office or other) with a reliable technology infrastructure.
Preferred Qualifications
While not mandatory, the following qualifications can enhance your success in this role:
- Previous experience in sales, coaching, or a related field.
- Familiarity with our Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software (Salesforce) or similar technology.
- A strong understanding of modern technology, including social media, business tools, mobile apps, and Microsoft Office suite.
- A proactive and organized approach to work, with a focus on open and constant communication with your teammates.
