We're seeking a highly skilled and motivated Customer Solutions Specialist to join our remote team, working from 11:30 AM to 8 PM EST. As a core member of our customer service team, you'll play a vital role in delivering exceptional customer experiences, driving business growth, and fostering a culture of excellence.
About Us and the Role
The WebstaurantStore is a fast-growing e-commerce company that specializes in providing businesses with the products and services they need to succeed. As a Customer Solutions Specialist, you'll be the primary point of contact for our customers, providing them with timely and effective solutions to their queries and concerns. You'll work in a dynamic and action-oriented environment, utilizing multiple software tools to navigate customer accounts, research questions, and communicate effective solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze customer situations, investigate problems, and provide strategic solutions within our business model, ensuring that customers receive the most complete and up-to-date information about their orders.
- Switch tasks as needed based on the current needs of the department, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
- Partner with other departments within and outside of Customer Solutions to support both the customer and the company, fostering a collaborative and team-oriented environment.
- Approach escalated customer situations with care and tact, utilizing de-escalation techniques to maintain the relationship and drive towards a resolution.
- Receive regular feedback from teammates, Team Leaders, and Quality Assurance to continuously fine-tune skills and abilities, ensuring that you're always delivering exceptional customer experiences.
- Maintain a positive, professional attitude in all correspondence, both within and outside the company, reflecting our company values and culture.
- Provide friendly, efficient, and accurate solutions for customers through phone, live chat, and e-mail, with the goal of delivering an excellent customer experience, enhancing customer loyalty, and increasing business sales.
Essential and Preferred Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you'll need to possess the following essential qualifications:
- At least 1 year of customer-facing experience or a college degree.
- Proficiency with Office 365 (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Windows system/internet navigation.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with conversational fluency in English.
- A typing speed of at least 40 Words Per Minute (WPM).
- Consistent 75mbps download/10mbps upload internet speeds.
- The ability to work a training schedule of 9:30 AM - 6 PM ET or local time zone equivalent, Monday through Friday, during the 60-day onboarding period.
- The ability to work 11:30 AM - 8 PM ET or local time zone equivalent, Monday through Friday, after the 60-day onboarding period.

Remote Work Qualifications
To work remotely with our team, you'll need to meet the following qualifications:
- Access to a reliable and secure high-speed internet connection, with cable or fiber internet connections (at least 75mbps download/10mbps upload) preferred.
- Access to a home router and modem.
- A dedicated home office space that is noise- and distraction-free, with a strong wireless connection or a wired Ethernet connection (wired connection is preferred, if possible).
- A valid, physical address (apartment, suite, etc.), as PO Boxes are not supported.
- The desire and ability to work and communicate with other team members via chat, webcam, etc.
- Legal residency in one of the following states: (AK, AL, AR, AZ, CT, DE, FL, GA, IA, ID, IN, KS, KY, LA, MD, ME, MI, MN, MO, MS, NC, ND, NH, NM, NV, OH, OK, PA, SC, SD, TN, TX, UT, VA, VT, WI, WV, and WY). H-1B Visa Sponsorship Not Available, W2 only.
