We're seeking a Senior Software Engineer Consultant to join our Value GTS organization and help us revolutionize the customer experience through cutting-edge technology and innovative solutions.
About the Role
As a Senior Software Engineer Consultant, you'll play a critical role in developing and maintaining our next-generation customer experience platform for Call Center and Store applications. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams to design and implement seamless UI experiences, integrate Conversational AI technologies, and drive business value through technical expertise and innovation.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and code next-generation microservices using Spring Boot and React UI, driving software development and programming in Java and J2EE
- Build and maintain unified sales and service applications within the Northstar Architecture (NSA) tech stack, ensuring optimal device-system interactions
- Collaborate with business partners to design and implement partner programs for store channels, including Exclusive Retail Stores, Agent Retail, and National Retailers
- Lead and deliver programs in a product-based Agile structure, maintaining functional/technical requirements and analyzing system architectures
- Manage vendor relationships to drive quality, reliability, and timely delivery, and lead emerging technology initiatives to facilitate decision-making and integration with vendor products
- Drive DevOps implementations from ideation to delivery, partnering with Global Delivery teams to create and optimize cross-channel experiences
- Deliver results within budget, time, quality, and strategic KPIs, documenting and complying with software quality, data security, and compliance processes
- Analyze market trends, identify growth opportunities, and develop strategies to support business goals, recommending and implementing customer experience process improvements
What We're Looking For
To succeed in this role, you'll need to have a strong foundation in software development, with a minimum of four years of relevant experience in Java, J2EE, and React UI. Experience implementing AI solutions for call centers or distribution channels is a plus. You'll also need to have:
Essential Qualifications
- Four or more years of relevant experience in software development, demonstrated through work and/or military experience
- Experience in Java, J2EE, and React UI
- Experience implementing AI solutions for call centers or distribution channels
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
- Experience in Spring Boot, Agile project management, and AWS, Oracle, Cassandra/NoSQL databases
- Experience in eCommerce and catalog management software, with a proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Solid understanding of technology selection, architecture, and full-stack implementation, with experience in Design Thinking and Engineering Transformation (DevOps, Microservices, AI)
- Strong leadership and organizational skills, with the ability to motivate large teams and excellent interpersonal, presentation, and written communication skills

The compensation range for this position is between $113,000.00 and $210,000.00 annually based on a full-time schedule. The salary will vary depending on your location and confirmed job-related skills and experience.
