About the Role
As a Senior Full Stack Engineer at Wellfit, you'll play a key role in driving the success of our organization. You'll be part of a frequently challenged team responsible for multiple software products developed by Wellfit. Your technical expertise and leadership will be instrumental in delivering software, implementing services and frameworks, and maintaining applications, websites, and databases for all users.
Key Responsibilities
- Take on a technical leadership role by developing systems that integrate with new and existing Wellfit technologies and products, leveraging your expertise in microservices, .NET, and Azure.
- Demonstrate expertise in code and software development processes, continuously improving both software and processes to ensure high-quality deliverables.
- Evaluate multiple approaches to technical problems, recommending solutions after considering limitations and challenges, and communicate clearly with the team regarding project status and risks.
- Serve as a role model for excellent software skills and a source of expertise within the business unit, ensuring that code is efficient, scalable, maintainable, extensible, robust, and easy to understand.
- Deliver high-quality code that meets requirements on schedule, optimizing code to improve tool run time and memory capacity, and create unit, regression, and system-level tests to validate new features or changes.
- Communicate solution designs, high-level architecture, and technical documentation, including diagrams, to stakeholders and team members.
Essential Qualifications
- BS degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, with a strong foundation in computer science principles.
- 5+ years of experience in Full Stack Development with ASP.NET, .NET Framework 2.0, C#, and SQL, with a deep understanding of web development standards and best practices.
- 5+ years of experience in Web Development, with expertise in JavaScript frameworks, particularly Angular, and a solid grasp of data structures, algorithms, and debugging.
- Experience working with Cloud APIs, Web Services, and Source Control tools, with a strong understanding of cloud service providers such as AWS, GCP, and Azure.
- Proven technical leadership skills, with successful delivery of projects involving multiple engineers, and a demonstrated ability to write, refactor, debug, and test code.
- Familiarity with Domain-Driven Design, Microservices, DevOps, GIT, Framework Development, and Full-Stack Engineering.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with unit testing (TDD, BDD, ATDD) and a strong understanding of testing principles.
- 5+ years of experience with C#/.NET, Microservices, Data Structures, Algorithm Design, API Design, and API Integration.
- 5+ years of experience with Azure Cloud, with a deep understanding of its services and features.
