Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Scientist to join our Enterprise Analytics (EDA) team at CVS Media Exchange. As a Senior Data Scientist, you will play a critical role in developing and implementing advanced analytics, experimentation, causal inference, and strategic problem-solving to drive business growth and inform decision-making. This is a unique opportunity to collaborate with cross-functional teams, leverage large datasets, and develop innovative solutions that transform the healthcare industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and apply advanced analytical techniques, machine learning models, and statistical methods to drive business outcomes and inform strategic decisions.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business problems, design solutions, and communicate insights through data visualization and storytelling.
- Lead the development and implementation of predictive models, causal inference, and experimentation design to drive business growth and improve customer engagement.
- Work with data engineers to design and implement data pipelines, data quality checks, and data visualization tools.
- Communicate complex technical concepts and results to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, including senior leaders and business partners.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in data science, machine learning, and analytics, and apply this knowledge to drive innovation and improvement.
Essential Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Business Analytics, Economics, Physics, Engineering, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience applying modern AI techniques to build predictive models for both classification and regression problems.
- 3+ years of experience using Python and SQL.
- 2+ years of experience extracting insights from complex data sets and communicating results to business stakeholders.
- 2+ years of experience preparing data for analysis, working with data engineering teams to create modeling datasets, and evaluating data quality.
- Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, R, or SQL.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications
- Graduate degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
- PhD in a related field is preferred.
- Experience designing online experiments (A/B testing).
- Strong ability to convey technical ideas and recommendations to colleagues.
- Capacity to communicate effectively and confidently with colleagues, project teams, and senior management.
- Ability to anticipate and prevent issues and detours before they occur.
- Proficiency in multiple areas of mathematical analysis techniques, AI, statistical analysis, experiment design, and predictive modeling.

Compensation and Benefits
The salary range for this position is $106,605.00 - $206,000.00 per year, depending on experience, education, and location. In addition to your salary, you will be eligible for:
- A CVS Health bonus, commission, or short-term incentive program.
