Create clear, concise, and user-focused technical content, including installation guides, how-to articles, administration documentation.
Test software to understand product functionality, validate procedures, and contribute to usability improvements.
Publish content using Cloudera’s Content Development tools and infrastructure.
3+ years of experience writing technical documentation for enterprise software; experience with cloud solutions is a plus.
Strong writing and editing skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into user-friendly documentation.
Experience using a DITA XML-based authoring tool such as oXygen XML.
Hands-on experience with source control or content management tools like Git or Perforce.
Familiarity with IT operations, data cluster management, or experience performing related tasks.
Proficiency in Linux (Red Hat Enterprise, Ubuntu, or SUSE).
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to gather information from subject matter experts through various methods.
A flexible and adaptable mindset, capable of handling evolving responsibilities, tools, and requirements.
The ability to quickly learn new technical subjects.
A self-starter approach, thriving in a fast-paced, collaborative environment with minimal supervision.
The ability to work effectively across time zones with distributed teams.
