Job Summary:
We're looking for an experienced IT Infrastructure Engineer to design, implement, and maintain our infrastructure systems, including server load balancing, WAS clustering, and application scaling. You'll work closely with our team to investigate and resolve middleware issues, monitor server farm operations, and ensure seamless communication and collaboration among team members.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and maintain infrastructure systems, including server load balancing, WAS clustering, and application scaling
- Investigate and resolve middleware issues across development, testing, and production environments
- Monitor server farm operations, including UPSs, cooling, power, and office security systems
- Collaborate with team members to ensure seamless communication and knowledge sharing
- Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and emerging technologies to maintain expertise and recommend improvements
- Provide guidance and support to junior team members as needed
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or related technical discipline
- 2+ years of experience as a network or system administrator or engineer
- Advanced critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- In-depth knowledge of IT business operations, systems requirements, and processes
- Experience with server administration (Linux and Windows), cloud technologies (Microsoft Azure, AWS, IBM Cloud), and DevOps tools (CI/CD, GitHub, Artifactory, Jenkins)
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing needs and priorities
