The ideal candidate will have a strong background in systems architecture, maintenance, and monitoring, with a focus on Windows and Linux operating systems. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and improving our core technology infrastructure, including Active Directory architecture, Exchange design, proxy servers, security design, and datacenter design. You will also be expected to troubleshoot complex systems and networking issues, provide critical thinking to resolve problems, and work closely with other IT functional areas to design and implement operational requirements for new and existing IT systems.
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong educational foundation in computer science or a related field, with a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Management Information Systems (MIS). You should also have relevant certifications, such as MCSE or CCNA, or be near completion of these certifications. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills are essential, as you will be working closely with management, vendors, and external parties, and will need to effectively communicate complex issues in a clear and concise manner.
