We are currently seeking a skilled and enthusiastic WFH Call Center Agent to join our dynamic team. As a call center agent, you will play a vital role in generating donations for non-profit organizations and progressive democratic candidates. Your primary responsibility will be to make outbound fundraising calls to existing or potential donors, using a script to influence and persuade them to donate to a cause or candidate. You will also process credit card gifts, work with coaches on our online calling platform, and record donor information accurately in our computer system.
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess excellent communication and persuasion skills, as well as a strong passion for fundraising and telesales. You should be friendly, persistent, and patient, with the ability to handle aggressiveness and complaints in a professional manner. A minimum of 1 year of experience in calling, preferably in fundraising, sustainer calls, polling calls, survey calls, membership calls, outreach calls, or proxy calls, is required.
While not essential, we prefer candidates with experience in fundraising, particularly those who have worked with non-profit organizations or progressive democratic candidates. A strong understanding of politics and current events is also desirable, as well as the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet targets.
