Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Technical SEO Director to lead our search engine optimization efforts and drive business growth through strategic and tactical SEO initiatives. As a Technical SEO Director, you will be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive SEO strategies that increase website rankings, drive organic traffic, and boost conversions. Key Responsibilities
- Provide expert Search Engine Optimization (SEO) guidance for keyword research, reporting, linking campaigns, conversion goals, on-site and off-site optimization, social media, local search, video optimization, and social media optimization
- Develop and execute tactical and strategic deliverables around link building, content development, site analysis, and other SEO practices
- Implement on-site and off-site SEO tactics for new and existing projects, ensuring optimal website performance and search engine rankings
- Conduct onsite implementation of new client projects, ensuring seamless integration and optimal results
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in SEO, monitoring algorithm updates and adjusting strategies accordingly
- Perform directory cleanup and citation building, ensuring accurate and consistent online presence
- Provide monthly web analytics reports to clients, highlighting key performance indicators and areas for improvement
- Optimize social media presence and develop strategies for user acquisition and engagement
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and maximize SEO impact
Essential Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Search Engine Optimization (SEO), with a strong background in technical SEO
- Proven experience managing multiple clients and projects simultaneously in an agency setting
- Ability to develop and implement SEO processes and strategies that drive results
- Digital marketing agency background experience, with a strong understanding of SEO best practices and industry trends
- Expert knowledge of SEO tools, including Google Webmaster, Google Analytics, and SEMrush
