Job Description and Key Responsibilities
As a Telecommunications Specialist (Engineering) at Workwarp, you will play a critical role in the design, maintenance, and development of outside plant facilities. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Gathering field data and preparing field notes for recommendations to engineers and/or for designing work orders
- Driving a company vehicle to various locations to gather data and verify plant conditions
- Entering manholes to gather data and verify plant conditions
- Coordinating activities with other departments, customers, utilities, municipalities, and/or businesses
- Reviewing and interpreting work orders
- Working with various systems to design, order, and maintain electronic equipment
- Working outside in all weather conditions to ensure the smooth operation of our outside plant facilities
