Key Responsibilities
- Assist the teacher in implementing daily lesson plans and classroom activities, ensuring a smooth and productive learning environment.
- Provide individual and small group instruction to students as needed, tailoring your support to meet the unique needs and abilities of each student.
- Monitor student behavior and provide appropriate support and redirection, promoting positive behavior and social skills.
- Prepare and maintain classroom materials and supplies, ensuring that the classroom is well-organized and equipped to support student learning.
- Contribute to a positive and inclusive classroom culture, fostering a sense of community and respect among students, teachers, and staff.
- Assist with student supervision during recess, lunch, and other activities, ensuring the safety and well-being of students at all times.
- Communicate effectively with teachers, parents, and other school staff, providing regular updates and feedback on student progress and needs.
- Perform other duties as assigned, demonstrating flexibility and a willingness to support the team in achieving its goals.
Qualifications and Skills

- High school diploma or equivalent, with a strong foundation in education and child development.
- Experience working with children preferred, with a demonstrated ability to connect with students and support their learning and development.
