Job Summary

As a Data Entry Clerk, you will be responsible for accurately and efficiently entering medical data into our electronic systems, verifying data for completeness and accuracy, and maintaining confidential and sensitive information with the utmost privacy and discretion.
Key Responsibilities
- Accurate and Efficient Data Entry: Enter medical data into electronic systems with high accuracy and efficiency, ensuring data quality and integrity.
- Data Verification and Correction: Verify data for completeness and accuracy, making necessary corrections as needed to ensure data accuracy.
- Confidentiality and Discretion: Maintain confidential and sensitive information with the utmost privacy and discretion, adhering to strict confidentiality and HIPAA guidelines.
- Electronic and Physical File Management: Organize and maintain electronic and physical files, ensuring easy access and retrieval of data.
- Communication and Collaboration: Communicate with team members and other departments to ensure timely and accurate data entry, and perform data audits to troubleshoot any discrepancies.
- Other Clerical Duties: Perform other clerical duties as assigned by supervisor, including data audits, troubleshooting, and special projects.
Requirements and Qualifications
Essential Qualifications
- High School Diploma or Equivalent: A high school diploma or equivalent is required, with some college coursework in healthcare or a related field preferred.
- Previous Experience: Previous experience in data entry or medical data is preferred, but not required.
