The Role: Entry Level Civil Engineer - Site Design
As an entry-level civil engineer at Bohler, you will play a critical role in our site design team. You will collaborate with experienced engineers and designers to work on challenging land development projects in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. Your responsibilities will include:
- Designing site plans for some of the most recognizable brand name clients across a wide spectrum of industries
- Preparing technical documents and plans, including site designs, grading plans, and stormwater management plans
- Conducting site visits and surveys to gather data and monitor project progress
- Collaborating with team members to develop and implement project designs
- Assisting in the preparation of project reports, proposals, and presentations
- Staying up-to-date with industry developments, best practices, and new technologies

Essential Qualifications and Skills
To succeed as an entry-level civil engineer at Bohler, you will need:
- A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering, or a related field
- A strong work ethic and a passion for design and creative problem-solving
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- The ability to learn quickly and adapt to new technologies and software
- AutoCAD Civil 3D experience is a plus, but not required; we offer training to help you develop your skills
Preferred Qualifications and Skills
We also prefer candidates with:
- Relevant internship or co-op experience in civil engineering or a related field
- Familiarity with land development projects and site design principles
- Experience with other design software, such as MicroStation or Revit
- A strong understanding of civil engineering principles, including grading, drainage, and stormwater management
