About the Role
The Compliance Education Specialist is a key member of our team, responsible for delivering high-quality training and consulting services to customers. You will conduct presentations, perform on-site evaluations, and provide expert guidance to ensure customers meet compliance standards.
Responsibilities
- Provide on-site services, including PowerPoint presentations, OSHA site evaluations, and HIPAA gap analysis.
- Manage assigned territory and company expenses, such as travel and accommodations.
- Respond to customer inquiries via phone and email to resolve compliance questions.
- Utilize electronic technology to deliver on-site visits and upload customer documents promptly.
- Stay up-to-date with bloodborne pathogens, OSHA, HIPAA, and HazCom regulations to maintain competency.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Requirements
- Associate's degree or equivalent experience required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
- 2+ years of experience in a healthcare environment.
- Completion of 30-hour online OSHA training required within the first 6 weeks of employment.
- Completion of HIPAA certification at a later date upon joining the team.
