I’m hiring a sharp, fast-learning AI Research Assistant to help power a growing investigative YouTube channel. This role is for someone who understands how to use AI tools strategically — not casually — and can move quickly under tight deadlines. You should already be highly proficient with ChatGPT and Grok, and be comfortable adapting to new AI tools as they emerge. Speed, accuracy, and judgment matter. What You’ll Do Use AI tools to assist with research for investigative and street-interview style videos Generate structured research briefs (background, timelines, key players, funding sources, statistics, counterarguments) Help craft sharp question lists for interviews Fact-check claims and identify primary sources Summarize long documents quickly and accurately Assist in developing video angles and story framing Stay on top of breaking news and surface actionable ideas fast You Must: Be extremely fluent with ChatGPT (prompt engineering, memory usage, structured outputs, etc.) Know Grok well and understand how it differs from other models Be able to learn new AI tools rapidly (Claude, Perplexity, Midjourney, scraping tools, etc.) Think critically — not just copy/paste AI outputs Understand bias detection and source credibility Work fast and meet deadlines Communicate clearly and concisely Bonus if you: Have experience with investigative journalism or political research Understand public records, nonprofit filings, government databases Have worked with YouTube creators before Are comfortable operating in high-speed news cycles Format Remote Part-time to start (room to grow) Must be responsive and available during U.S. working hours When applying, include: A short paragraph explaining how you use ChatGPT differently than the average person An example of a research brief you’ve created using AI Tools you’re currently fluent in Your availability and hourly rate Attatch your internet speed as a screenshot.
