If making a positive impact in the lives of teens while visiting the Grand Canyon, Space Needle, Pike?s Peak, and Disneyland inspires you, this is the summer job for you! We are seeking enthusiastic, high-energy, responsible individuals to serve as counselors and positive role models on our 5-week nationwide bus tour for 14?16-year-old students... Applicants must be at least 22 and have prior experience working with young people.

Established in 1964, The Grand Western Tour is America's original and longest-running teen travel tour. Based in Greensboro, NC, the tour is owned and operated by 1981 alumna Mary Barnett Hale and her husband Scott and has earned the reputation as one of the most popular summer teen tours in the southeast. This exhilarating 33-day road trip traverses 18 states, 22+ cities, and 8 iconic national parks across the U.S. Teens are given the chance to navigate new situations, manage their own schedules and budgets, and solve real-world problems under the guidance of our experienced mentors. The intimate group setting is designed to cultivate a supportive network of fellow travelers.

2025 Travel dates:

Session 1 - June 15 - July 17

Session 2 - June 22 - July 24

Requirements:

Experience working with young people

Ability to live and work well with others

Available June 14- July 18, 2024

Red Cross First Aid/CPR Certification

Interview

Outdoor Experience (i.e., hiking, horseback riding, whitewater rafting, team building)
