Job Overview We are seeking a highly analytical and strategic-minded Strategy and Policy Adviser to support our company to set and deliver against our strategic direction and raise strategic capability internally. A day in the life of this role could include producing a paper on depth research, drafting high-quality political policy analysis, geopolitics white papers, economic briefing documents, or industry reports for clients across sectors. At times you will think and talk with us about the big, game-changing ideas so we can be well positioned far into the future. Responsibilities • Strategic projects: Manage and lead strategic projects as needed, particularly producing timely high-quality materials to scope, define and deliver projects. This may include: project initiation and scoping, desk research, running discoveries, producing recommendations of next steps, facilitating agreement, and establishing the means for implementation. • Consultancy: Provide internal consultancy to customers , supporting strategic thinking and approaches, including improve alignment between services, functions and products with the organisational strategy. • Strategic policy: Develop policy on long term strategic issues. Consider the wider environment, use research findings, undertake independent research, horizon scanning. • Insight: Develop strategic insights from context or data and work collaboratively to translate into action. Ensure insights from various sources are systematically captured,Spot opportunities for insight to be applied. Qualifications • Proven experience in international relations or political consultancy, with a strong track record of success. • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse audiences. • Strong analytical skills with a keen eye for detail and the ability to interpret complex data. • Familiarity with various cultural practices and business etiquette across different regions is highly desirable. • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment. • A relevant degree or professional qualification in international relations or a related field is preferred.
