About the Role
We are offering a unique opportunity for a Senior Principal Architect - Identity and Access Management (IAM) to join our Digital Technology team. As a remote worker, you will be responsible for designing a cutting-edge IAM platform that delivers secure, robust, scalable, and performant systems. This is a senior-level position that requires collaboration with development teams, digital product groups, and various teams across the airline to integrate identity security into the product lifecycle from design through deployment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and document the IAM platform architecture and guide the development teams on security best practices and risk management.
- Lead the design, definition, and implementation of security policies and guidelines to ensure product development teams understand and adhere to them.
- Suggest and implement products/services that support operational requirements and security prerequisites.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of our security strategy based on risk prioritization and business objectives.
- Participate in scope quantification, performance testing, and disaster recovery discussions to ensure a performant, scalable, highly available, and resilient IAM platform.
- Act as a thought leader and guide, train, and mentor junior members of the IAM team.
Requirements and Qualifications
Essential Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a STEM field.
- At least 4 years of experience in related fields like cybersecurity.
- 4+ years of experience working with an IAM platform, such as ForgeRock, Okta, Ping Identity, Oracle Access Manager, Cognito, AWS IAM, Azure, Delinea/Thycotic, CyberArk, BeyondTrust, SailPoint, Saviynt, and NetIQ/MicroFocus.
- Mastery of SSO, SAML, OAuth2, OIDC, FIDO, WebAuthN.
- Knowledge of RDBMS (Oracle), DataPower, Customer Information Platforms, dynamic authorization, Multifactor Authentication (MFA).
- Skill in modern programming lifecycle development and automated cloud infrastructure deployment.
- CIAM-specific knowledge of fraud prevention and detection, identity proofing, and identity verification technologies.
- Workforce-specific knowledge of proficiencies and controls like Privileged Account Management (PAM) including privileged account vaulting, special session management, and endpoint privilege management, Identity Administration and Governance including identity lifecycle management (joiner, mover, leaver), access certification, and access rights management.
- Must be lawfully authorized to work in the US for any employer without sponsorship.
- Reliable, dependable attendance is a fundamental requirement of the position.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Graduate degree.
- Certified Information Security Manager (CISM).
- Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP).
- Over 4 years of demonstrated ability in a related field, including any combination of the following: threat modeling, secure coding, identity management and authentication, software development, cryptography, system administration and network security, cloud computing.
- 4 years of demonstrated ability working with an IAM platform.
