About the Role
As a Senior Accounts Payable Analyst, you'll play a critical role in supporting the Accounts Payable team. You'll be responsible for processing invoices, assisting vendors and partners with billing inquiries, and ensuring seamless operations. You'll report to the Accounts Payable Manager and work closely with the BPO team to resolve exception invoices and provide training and system automation development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Invoice Review and Approval: Review and approve invoices for accuracy and compliance with company policies.
- Vendor Statements Review: Review vendor statements to ensure accuracy and resolve any discrepancies.
- Vendor Management Resolution: Resolve vendor issues and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
- Audit of Invoices: Conduct audits of invoices processed by the BPO team to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Weekly Review Meetings: Participate in weekly review meetings with the BPO team to discuss progress and address any issues.
- Exception Invoices: Review and resolve exception invoices as a tier 2 specialist.
- Internal Training and System Automation: Provide internal training and system automation development to improve processes and resolve vendor issues.
- Ad Hoc Projects: Participate in ad hoc month-end projects as needed.
- BPO Team Training: Train the BPO team on Coupa and Netsuite systems.
- SOP Creation: Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for Accounts Payable.
- Jira Tickets Review: Review Jira tickets to ensure timely resolution of vendor issues.
Requirements and Qualifications
Essential Qualifications:
- Written and Verbal Proficiency in English: Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Accounting Experience: 4+ years of experience in Accounting, preferably in Accounts Payable.
- ERP Systems Experience: Experience with ERP systems, such as NetSuite.
- Procurement Systems Experience: Experience with procurement systems, such as Coupa.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Accounts Payable Certification: Certification in Accounts Payable, such as Certified Accounts Payable Specialist (CAPS).
- Experience with BPO Teams: Experience working with BPO teams and managing vendor relationships.
