As a Sales Associate, SME, you will be responsible for generating new sales, building and maintaining relationships with key internal partners, and developing senior-level client contacts. Your expertise in technology solutions and consultative selling skills will enable you to deliver client-specific solutions and drive business growth. Key Responsibilities: Proactively identify new opportunities and deliver innovative solutions to increase profitability and expand American Express Global Business Travel's influence. Lead sales efforts to deliver multiple revenue streams and drive premium revenue growth. Develop a deep understanding of key business drivers, organizational culture, and competitive positioning to create tailored solutions for clients. Conduct market research and analyze competitor products and services to highlight the value of Amex GBT products and services. Enhance the American Express Global Business Travel value proposition through policy consultation, technology road mapping, and online solution optimization. Requirements: Minimum 3 years of business development experience with strong industry knowledge. Proven track record of generating new pipeline through prospect engagements and proficient in SalesForce.com and Microsoft Office Suites. Exceptional relationship management and consultative sales skills, with the ability to synthesize client needs and develop innovative solutions. Strong negotiation skills, including the ability to handle objections and achieve mutually beneficial solutions. Highly articulate written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex ideas in a simple and compelling way to various audiences.
