Key Responsibilities
- Assess and Interpret Patient Needs: Utilize your clinical expertise to assess patient requirements and develop effective solutions to meet their needs.
- Problem-Solving and Critical Thinking: Apply critical-thinking and sound clinical judgment to resolve moderately complex problems and conduct analyses.
- Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with cross-functional teams, inter-departmental colleagues, and enterprise clients/partners to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Guiding and Coaching: Provide feedback, guidance, and coaching to colleagues with less experience, helping to foster a culture of excellence.
- Translating Concepts into Practice: Leverage your expertise to translate complex concepts into practical applications, driving improved patient outcomes.
- Minimal Supervision: Work independently with minimal guidance, seeking input only on the most complex tasks.
Essential Qualifications
- Current RN License: Hold a current, unrestricted RN license in the State of Nevada.
- Clinical Experience: Possess at least 2 years of clinical experience as an RN.
- Microsoft Office Proficiency: Demonstrate intermediate-level proficiency with Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel.
- High-Speed Internet Access: Have access to high-speed internet to support remote work.
Preferred Qualifications
- Case Management Experience: Have at least 1 year of experience in case management.
- Utilization Management/Prior Authorizations: Possess experience with utilization management and prior authorizations.
- Telecommuter Policy Adherence: Be willing to adhere to UnitedHealth Group's Telecommuter Policy as a remote worker.
