Job Overview
We're offering an exceptional opportunity for a dedicated RN - NICU to provide high-quality care to critically ill newborns and their families. As a travel nurse with Vetted Health, you'll have the chance to work in a dynamic and supportive environment, making a meaningful impact on the lives of patients and their loved ones. Key Responsibilities:
- Provide expert care to critically ill newborns in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU)
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Monitor patients' vital signs, lab results, and medical conditions, adjusting care plans as needed
- Administer medications, perform procedures, and provide emotional support to patients and families
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements
- Participate in unit meetings, contributing to quality improvement initiatives and policy development
- Adhere to Vetted Health's policies, procedures, and standards of care
Requirements and Qualifications:
Essential Qualifications:
- Current RN licensure in the state of California or eligible for licensure
- 2 years of experience in a Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) or similar setting
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- National and state certification in Neonatal Intensive Care (NICU) or willingness to obtain
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts, 3 days a week

- Experience with electronic medical records (EMRs) and other healthcare technology
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Commitment to ongoing education and professional development
