Key Responsibilities

• Deliver reporting and insights in the space of paid media, providing data-driven recommendations to stakeholders.
• Design and lead the development of analytics, BI, and data science projects aimed at optimizing paid media and improving marketing efficiencies.
• Collaborate with paid media data science teams and marketing teams to implement media mix models and drive business outcomes.
• Conduct ad-hoc analysis through database querying, followed by insightful interpretation of results and the reporting and communication of recommendations that drive action.
• Work closely with marketing, finance, and data product teams to address business challenges and track marketing and product performance using a data-driven approach.
• Utilize tools like SQL, MicroStrategy, Tableau, Excel, and other reporting tools to create and maintain scheduled and ad-hoc reports.
• Analyze data to identify business issues and conduct deep dives to perform root cause analysis, providing actionable insights to stakeholders.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to leverage data (internal data from Amazon, as well as external data from market research and advertising agencies) and address complex business challenges by delivering meaningful insights.
• Conceptualize and run analysis that generates insights on customer behavior and customer needs to help further develop and improve Amazon's value proposition.

Essential Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field such as data science, business, economics, information technology, statistics, mathematics, or a related field.
• Advanced SQL experience and proficiency in at least one industry examination and metrics visualization tool (e.g., Tableau/QuickSight/PowerBI).
• Mastery in Excel with a proven track record of using it for complex data analysis.
• Experience in the space of Business Intelligence, Analysis, or Consulting in an e-commerce environment or related field.

• Strong passion for numbers, data, and statistics, as well as for delivering high-quality analysis.
• Action-oriented, highly organized, and able to complete tasks and projects with minimal guidance and tight deadlines.
• Excellent communication (verbal and written), interpersonal skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with both business management and technical teams.
• Experience with subscription-based or media content organizations.
• Interest in or experience with cutting-edge data science approaches.
• Knowledge of programming languages such as Python, Java, or C#, or statistical programming languages like R or SAS.
• Familiarity with Adobe Analytics is a plus.
