They are assembling teams for the MyFloridaNet-3 Program, a significant statewide network modernization initiative in Florida, and are looking for professionals in Network Operations, Network Security Engineering, and Project Management roles. This program aims to enhance critical telecommunications infrastructure for millions of residents and essential services across the state.
Responsibilities
- Support a 24x7x365 Network Operations Center (NOC) environment through shift-based work
- Monitor network performance, troubleshoot incidents, and support operational stability
- Work hands-on with enterprise-class networking environments
- Escalate, document, and resolve issues in accordance with SLAs and operational procedures
- Support a 24x7x365 Security Operations Center (SOC) through shift-based work
- Monitor security events, perform incident response, and support vulnerability mitigation efforts
- Apply network and cybersecurity best practices to protect enterprise environments
- Collaborate with network, engineering, and compliance teams to maintain a secure posture
- Install, configure, and maintain core enterprise network infrastructure
- Support network modernization, optimization, and ongoing operational needs
- Demonstrate a strong understanding of enterprise network topologies and protocols
- Work independently while collaborating across engineering and operations teams
- Install, configure, and maintain enterprise security tools and technologies
- Support security architecture, operational requirements, and compliance standards
- Demonstrate a strong understanding of network security technologies and frameworks
- Partner with operations teams to ensure secure, reliable system performance
- Lead and coordinate cutovers from existing infrastructure to Peraton's network environment
- Manage schedules, dependencies, and stakeholder communications across technical and client teams
- Serve as a client-facing point of coordination throughout implementation phases
- Bring strong organizational, communication, and documentation skills
Skills
- U.S. Citizenship is required
- Experience requirements vary by role and level
- Some positions may require or prefer industry certifications (e.g., ITIL v4, CISSP, CISM, or similar)
- Experience with large-scale or mission-critical networks
- Experience in public sector or regulated environments
- Telecom or large-scale infrastructure experience
