[Hybrid] Paralegal, Corporate Insurance

Insurance Corporate Paralegal - P&C Insurance [HYBRID] We are representing a Fortune 500 organization within the Property & Casualty Insurance sector seeking an experienced Corporate Paralegal to support a decentralized in-house legal department. This position reports to the Vice President, Senior Associate General Counsel and provides broad exposure to corporate governance, regulatory, and securities-related legal matters across a complex multi-entity structure. The team operates within a highly collaborative, close-knit legal group where culture fit, initiative, and adaptability are essential. The role offers meaningful visibility with attorneys and senior business stakeholders, including executive leadership. Role & Responsibilities: • Corporate Governance & Entity Support • Preparing resolutions, consents, minutes, and governance documentation • Maintaining corporate records and officer/director data • Supporting recurring subsidiary governance workflows • Regulatory & Compliance Assistance • Supporting regulatory reporting and documentation • Assisting with examination responses and audits • Maintaining compliance records and tracking deadlines • Securities & Corporate Compliance Support • Assisting with securities-related filings and documentation • Maintaining organized compliance materials • Legal Operations & Departmental Coordination • Maintaining minute books, records, and governance calendars • Managing multi-entity legal documentation • Supporting document management and special projects • Cross-Functional Collaboration • Partnering with attorneys and business stakeholders • Supporting leadership and governance communications Required Qualifications: • MUST HAVE 5-7+ years of corporate paralegal experience or comparable experience within a sophisticated legal or corporate environment • MUST HAVE experience preparing governance documents (resolutions, consents, minutes) • MUST HAVE strong organizational and document management skills • MUST HAVE proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 Preferred Qualifications: • Experience within insurance or another regulated industry • Exposure to regulatory examinations or compliance reporting • Experience supporting securities or corporate compliance matters • Familiarity with governance/entity management platforms (e.g., Diligent) Job Specifications: • Salary: $65k-95k base • Bonus: Eligibility-based, not guaranteed • Benefits: Comprehensive benefits package • Location: Chicago Metro • Work Mode: Hybrid (3 days in-office) - Must be available in-office on designated team day
