As the trusted guardian of the homes they serve, They are looking for a sharp, personable, and results-driven Sales Estimator to help scope out new projects, communicate clearly with homeowners, and convert estimates into scheduled work. Position Summary
We are hiring a Part-Time Sales Estimator with a background in construction, handyman services, or home improvement. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving problems, guiding clients, and being part of a mission-driven team. Whether you're actively in the field or retired and want to stay connected to the industry, this is a high-impact, flexible opportunity.
What You’ll Do
• Conduct remote walk-throughs with clients via Zoom or FaceTime to assess project scope and needs
• Provide accurate and detailed estimates for labor, materials, and proactive maintenance plans
• Clearly explain project scope, timelines, and cost to homeowners in an honest, approachable way
• Follow up with clients to convert estimates into scheduled work and build long-term relationships
• Collaborate with field technicians, subcontractors, and office staff to ensure alignment and delivery
• Promote the To-Do List Membership program to help clients stay ahead of recurring maintenance
• Track and manage all estimates, project notes, and client communications in an organized system
You Might Be a Great Fit If You Have:
• 3+ years of experience in home construction, estimating, or project management
• Hands-on knowledge of general trades (carpentry, painting, drywall, minor plumbing/electrical)
• Strong sales instincts with the ability to build rapport, earn trust, and close deals
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Comfort with video conferencing tools and digital estimation platforms
• High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
• A passion for helping people improve their homes and quality of life
Job Types: Part-time, Contract
Pay: $20.00 - $35.00 per hour
Expected hours: 10 – 35 per week
