CoBank is a cooperative bank serving vital industries across rural America, and they are seeking a Financial Crimes Analyst. The role involves investigating, resolving, and monitoring the bank's Anti-Fraud Program and providing critical support to customers in managing suspected fraud cases.
Responsibilities
- Conducts daily monitoring of LIVE transactions for fraudulent characteristics and evaluates and escalates urgent requests and fraud incidents to appropriate leadership
- Communicates suspicious transaction concerns to customers, associations, and internal CoBank Groups
- Evaluates, investigates and resolves initial high-risk transaction alerts for OFAC sanctions
- Tracks summary reports, participates in team discussions and provides recommendations based on daily findings
- Supports internal CoBank system upgrades and/or testing, including annual business continuity system testing
- Monitors the Fraud group email box, phone queue, voicemail, and responds as needed
- Provides guidance to other departments regarding Fraud questions and transactions
Skills
- Bachelor's Degree in accounting, finance, business or other relevant discipline required
- Bachelor's degree may be substituted with four years of related experience (four years is in addition to what is minimally required for the role), or an equivalent combination of education and related experience
- 1 year of experience, preferably in banking or financial services, fraud or risk management required
