About Our Team

Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, and implementation of large-scale software applications, tools, systems, and REST services using Object-Oriented Design and Java.
- Collaborate with project teams and cross-functional teams to troubleshoot open issues, bug fixes, and ensure on-time delivery.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members, promoting a culture of innovation and excellence.
- Participate in the discovery phase of medium to large projects, partnering with product management, project management, business, and user experience teams to develop high-level designs.
- Troubleshoot business and production issues, gathering information, engaging support teams, and formulating action plans to resolve issues.
- Demonstrate up-to-date expertise and apply this to the development, execution, and improvement of action plans, providing expert advice and guidance to others.
- Build relationships and partnerships with key stakeholders to identify business needs and determine necessary processes and practices.
Essential Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
- A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Information Systems, Software Engineering, or a related area, and 3 years of experience in software engineering or a related area.
- Alternatively, 5 years of experience in software engineering or a related area.
- Experience designing and developing large-scale, multi-tiered, multi-threaded, distributed software applications using Object-Oriented Design and Java.
- Experience with data structures and algorithms, as well as optimizing software using algorithms.
- Experience owning full-stack software from hardware to UI and writing secure, stable, testable, maintainable code with minimal defects.
Preferred Qualifications
While not mandatory, the following qualifications are highly valued:
- A Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Information Systems, Software Engineering, or a related area, and 1 year of experience in software engineering or a related area.
- Knowledge of accessibility best practices, including implementing Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 AA standards and assistive technologies.
- Experience creating inclusive digital experiences and integrating digital accessibility seamlessly.
