Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Remote Data Entry Associate to join our team at blithequark. As a Data Entry Associate, you will be responsible for processing all incoming healthcare claim forms, digitalizing them in a form provided by the company, and ensuring that all details are accurate and meet the expected keystrokes per hour or words per minute established by the company. This is a remote position, and you will be required to work one of the assigned shifts, Monday through Friday, between 6 am CST and 10 pm CST.

Key Responsibilities

• Captures and validates complex data with high accuracy
• Classifies and indexes images
• Pre-adjudicates documents and corrects data as required
• Verifies data from automated data extraction tools
• Utilizes various systems to work on assigned tasks
• Completes assignments using multiple source documents to verify data or use additional information to complete the work
• Works within established procedures and practices
• Works under close degree of supervision

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to meet the following requirements:

• Must be able to type at least 45+ words per minute with high accuracy and 10-key by touch proficiency
• Proficient computer skills, including MS Office and internet research
• Able to work under pressure to meet deadlines while performing functions with high accuracy rate
• Maintain or exceed 4,000 keystrokes per hour for numeric and 2,500 keystrokes per hour for alpha/numeric with less than 1% error rate
• Basic knowledge of medical claims form processing preferred
• Experience working through VPN connection
• Must be at least 18 years of age or older
• Must have a high school diploma or general education degree (GED)
• Must be eligible to work in the United States
• Must be able to clear any necessary criminal background checks or drug screenings
