**Responsibilities**
As a Phone and Chat Specialist, you'll be responsible for:
* Managing large volumes of inbound and outbound calls in a timely manner
* Handling multiple chat channels simultaneously, providing prompt and accurate responses to customers
* Following established communication scripts to ensure consistency and efficiency
* Identifying customers' needs, clarifying information, researching, and providing solutions and/or alternatives
* Accessing company and client resources to accurately handle calls
* Performing data entry and customer service tasks with precision and attention to detail
* Navigating online platforms efficiently to verify credentials and process requests
* Working with customers to resolve issues and provide support
* Maintaining a positive and professional demeanor in all customer interactions
* Demonstrating flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment
**Qualifications**
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
* 1 year of customer service or customer support experience
* 1 year of previous call center or office background experience required
* Technical savvy and proficiency in navigating online platforms
* Previous remote work from home experience a plus
* Quick learner and able to work independently
* Strong phone and verbal communication skills, along with active listening
* Ability to type 35 words per minute accurately
* A background check applicable with state and federal laws is required

**Compensation, Perks, and Benefits**
As a Phone and Chat Specialist, you'll enjoy:
* Starting pay of $14/hour, plus shift differential and possible increase after 90 days pending attendance and performance
* Work hours: Shifts between 7:00am-7:00pm (CST) Work Days: Mon-Fri and rotating weekends
* Paid training: 3 weeks in length from 8:00am-5:00pm Mon-Fri (CST)
* Status: Full-time 40 hours
* Equipment provided: arenaflex will ship equipment to you for full-time permanent employees
* Must have verified internet service (secure, reliable, and dedicated high-speed is required to support business needs) and an established dedicated work area (desk, chair, electrical outlet, direct LAN connection)
