Key Responsibilities
As a Data Entry Operator at blithequark, your primary focus will be on entering information with a high degree of speed and accuracy, inputting large amounts of data into our customer information system and other Public Works software. Your responsibilities will include:
- Establishing and maintaining utility accounts with precision and attention to detail.
- Verifying account eligibility and accessibility to ensure compliance with our policies and procedures.
- Preparing, distributing, and completing work orders in a timely and efficient manner.
- Preparing files for mass customer communications, ensuring that all information is accurate and up-to-date.
- Assisting with mailing billing statements and other notices generated in-house, maintaining confidentiality and professionalism at all times.
- Scanning or retaining documents in accordance with our record-keeping policies and procedures.
- Performing monthly audits of incomplete account transfer requests to identify areas for improvement and optimize our processes.
- Entering data into Key Performance Indicator tracking databases to support our business operations and strategic decision-making.
- Performing other related duties as assigned, demonstrating flexibility and a willingness to adapt to changing priorities and requirements.
Essential Qualifications
To be considered for this role, you will need to meet the following essential qualifications:
- Education and Experience: A High School Diploma or an acceptable equivalency diploma (GED), and two (2) years of experience as a high-volume data entry operator or typist.
- Licenses or Certifications: None specified, although relevant certifications or training in data entry, business administration, or a related field may be an advantage.
- Special Requirements: You must pass computer skills, typing and accuracy, and 10-key skills testing for consideration, demonstrating your ability to work efficiently and accurately in a fast-paced environment.
