Key Responsibilities
- Design and document comprehensive data conversion strategies for the migration of legacy system data into CCS, ensuring alignment with system requirements and business rules.
- Develop detailed mapping logic and specifications to facilitate clean, accurate data transformation, collaborating with data analysts, developers, and business subject matter experts (SMEs) as needed.
- Review and validate conversion requirements to ensure the integrity and completeness of migrated data, identifying and addressing any data issues that may arise during testing or post-load validations.
- Create technical documentation, including conversion rules, test plans, and validation scripts, to support the conversion process and ensure knowledge sharing across the team.
- Participate in conversion mock runs and go-live activities to ensure successful execution, providing expert guidance and support to stakeholders as required.
- Analyze and resolve data issues arising during testing or post-load validations, applying technical expertise and problem-solving skills to deliver timely and effective solutions.
- Contribute to conversion planning, scheduling, and resource coordination, working closely with the project team to ensure the efficient allocation of resources and the achievement of project milestones.
Essential Qualifications
To be considered for this exciting opportunity, candidates must possess the following essential qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in data conversion or system integration roles, ideally within public utilities or large enterprise systems, with a strong understanding of CCS (Customer Care & Services) or other utility customer systems.
- Proficient in data mapping, transformation logic, and conversion testing practices, with experience working with SAP, Oracle Utilities, or other CIS platforms being a significant advantage.

- Must be available to work onsite in San Antonio, TX, three days per week (Tuesday–Thursday), with the remaining days worked remotely.
