About the Role: Customer Service Agent
As a Customer Service Agent at blithequark, you'll be the first point of contact for our customers, setting the tone for their entire travel experience. You'll work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, providing exceptional customer service, handling customer inquiries, and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner. Key Responsibilities:
- Provide friendly, patient, and efficient service to all customers, both internal and external, ensuring a positive association with blithequark.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure seamless airport operations and customer experiences.
- Handle customer inquiries, resolve issues, and provide information on flights, baggage, and other travel-related services.
- Operate electronic retail location systems, manage ticketing and registration, and process payments.
- Manage cash, checks, credit cards, travel vouchers, and coupons, processing charges and making change.
- Check in baggage and freight, handle phone calls, and page customers.
- Resolve customer complaints and issues, including those related to oversold flights, delays, or lost/damaged baggage.
- Provide accurate and up-to-date information on flight schedules, reservations, and airport operations.
- Complete forms and reports as required, including abnormality and complaint reports.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Requirements and Qualifications:
To succeed as a Customer Service Agent at blithequark, you'll need:
- A Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
- Ability to type or use a computer keyboard with adequate speed to meet job requirements.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers, colleagues, and management.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handling multiple tasks and priorities.
- Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.
- Ability to work under close time constraints and meet productivity standards.
- Knowledge of airport operations, ticketing procedures, and airline regulations.
- Ability to lift and move baggage, and work in a physically demanding environment.
Preferred Qualifications:

- Previous experience in customer service, airport operations, or a related field.
- Knowledge of airline industry regulations and procedures.
- Experience with electronic retail location systems and airline software.
- Certifications or training in customer service, conflict resolution, or airport operations.
