About the Role
As a Software Engineer on our Cross-Platform UI Team, you will play a critical role in developing innovative iOS mobile products that delight our members. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team, including product management, design, and idea generation, to bring new and exciting cinematic experiences to life. Your responsibilities will include:
- Collaborating with developers and product teams to create a fun, effective, and efficient user experience
- Contributing to product development, core processes, and A/B testing using Swift's advanced UIKit, Core Animation, and Foundation APIs
- Creating a managed iOS user account with quality information that other developers on your team can use
- Delivering quality code by writing automated tests with the XCTest and XCUITest frameworks
- Working closely with product management to manage the project and with designers to refine UI specifications or collaborate with project partners on integration projects

Essential Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need to have:
- A strong foundation in computer science, including data structures, algorithms, and software design patterns
- Experience with agile development methodologies and version control systems such as Git
- Excellent coding skills in Swift and the ability to write clean, efficient, and well-documented code
- Strong understanding of iOS development, including UIKit, Core Animation, and Foundation APIs
Preferred Qualifications
While not required, the following qualifications are preferred:
- Experience with cross-platform development and familiarity with other programming languages such as Java or Python
- Knowledge of cloud-based technologies and experience with cloud-based development platforms
- Familiarity with machine learning and artificial intelligence concepts and technologies
- Experience with DevOps and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines
