Key Responsibilities
- Welcome clients while entering or leaving the store, answering their questions and addressing their concerns in a timely and professional manner.
- Answer incoming calls and take messages while on the inbound call place or on location, providing exceptional customer service and resolving customer complaints and concerns.
- Answer store inquiries concerning products or services while available or on location, providing accurate and up-to-date information to customers.
- Take payment from customers at the register while available or on location, handling cash, credit card transactions, and other payment methods.
- Maintain the cleanliness of the store and clerk area, including counters, registers, cash drawers, flooring, and other areas as needed.
- Stock racks and other areas with required products, ensuring that the store is well-stocked and visually appealing.
- Operate register equipment, including register software, to process transactions and manage cash handling.
- Maintain the cleanliness of the community, including counters, floors, bathrooms, break rooms, and other areas on a daily basis.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the manager or supervisor, including opening and closing procedures, inventory management, and special projects.
Essential Qualifications
