blithequark Information Services is seeking a part-time Data Entry Specialist to join our team at our Minnetonka headquarters. As a Data Entry Specialist, you will play a crucial role in entering books and periodicals into our systems in multiple languages, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail. This position requires fluency in English and a working knowledge of Chinese (with reading fluency preferred). You will work 20-25 hours per week, with flexible scheduling between 8 am and 5 pm, Monday through Friday. To succeed in this role, you will need to possess strong attention to detail and proof-reading skills, as well as Chinese reading and writing language skills (simplified and/or traditional). Fluency in English is also required. While prior experience in academic research, library science, or publishing is desirable, it is not necessary. You should be highly organized, skilled in time management, and able to prioritize work, handle multiple tasks, and manage deadlines effectively.
Additionally, you should have a strong track record of accuracy in communications and technical details, as well as proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office products. The ability to learn new products quickly and adapt to changes in delivered services is also essential.
