**Key Responsibilities**
As a Customer Service Manager at arenaflex, you will be responsible for leading a team of customer service representatives, ensuring that patients receive exceptional service and support. Your primary responsibilities will include:
* Answering patient calls, listening to their concerns, and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner
* Handling both incoming and outgoing phone conversations, ensuring that all interactions are clear, concise, and respectful
* Resolving complex patient billing inquiries and problems while documenting all phone calls accurately and entirely in the electronic medical record (EMR)
* Providing excellent customer service through clear, concise communication, ensuring a positive patient experience on every interaction
* Processing patient payments, establishing payment plans, and making outbound calls to collect outstanding patient balances
* Following up on interdepartmental issues, emails, and voicemails, ensuring that all communication is prompt and effective
* Maintaining HIPAA compliance at all times, ensuring the confidentiality and security of patient information
* Performing other duties as assigned by management
**Skills and Qualifications**
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and qualifications:
* Strong customer service excellence, with a proven track record of delivering exceptional patient experiences
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, colleagues, and management
* Proficient with Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, and Outlook, with the ability to learn new software and systems quickly
* Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to work independently with little supervision
* Demonstrated ability to understand and implement verbal and written direction, with a strong attention to detail
* Proficient in English, with the ability to communicate effectively with patients and colleagues
* Proficiency in Spanish is a plus, but not required
**Education and Experience**
* One (1) year revenue cycle experience in a healthcare organization is required
* High school diploma or equivalent is required
* Basic understanding of medical insurance is required
* Experience in customer service, medical billing, or a related field is highly desirable
