About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Substitute Teacher to join our team in Glen Rock, NJ. Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality teaching and instruction to students in various subjects and grade levels
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans, adapting to the needs of different classrooms and students
- Manage classroom behavior, ensuring a safe and respectful learning environment for all students
- Communicate effectively with students, teachers, and school administrators, providing regular updates on student progress
- Participate in professional development opportunities, enhancing your teaching skills and staying up-to-date with best practices in education
- Collaborate with other educators and school staff to achieve common goals and support student success
Essential Qualifications
To be considered for this exciting opportunity, you will need:
- An Associate or Bachelor's degree, or 60+ college credits
- Three professional references, including one from a previous direct supervisor
- A NJ Substitute Credential
- A background check and TB risk assessment (we will cover the cost of this)
- Full COVID-19 vaccination

Preferred Qualifications
While not essential, the following qualifications are highly desirable:
- Experience working in education, particularly in substitute teaching or related roles
