About the Role: Director of Pharmacy Strategy
We're seeking an experienced Director of Pharmacy Strategy to lead strategic initiatives for CVS Pharmacy and Consumer Wellness. As a key member of our team, you'll develop long-term strategies, identify new opportunities for growth and profitability, and collaborate with various business units to drive success. Key Responsibilities
- Manage cross-functional efforts to identify new white-space opportunities for further corporate investment, driving growth and innovation.
- Lead strategy development with leadership teams to identify new business opportunities and enhance the profitability of existing ventures.
- Support the stand-up of new entities and business units in pursuit of internal optimization goals, ensuring seamless execution.
- Communicate strategies and opportunities to C-suite audiences, presenting complex information in a clear and compelling manner.
- Support the evaluation of equity investments in third parties, working closely with the CVS Ventures team and investment banking partners.
- Drive internal optimization efforts within the Pharmacy and Consumer Wellness Portfolio of companies, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes.
- Lead ad-hoc high-priority strategic efforts for the C-suite team, providing expert analysis and recommendations.
- Develop and maintain relationships with internal senior leadership teams, fostering collaboration and driving results.
Essential Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
- 4+ years of strategy consulting experience from a top-tier firm, with a proven track record of developing and implementing successful strategies.
- 8-12 years of total experience, with a strong background in healthcare or a related industry.
- A Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution, with an MBA preferred but not required.
