As a Pharmacy Service Representative, you'll be at the forefront of this effort, ensuring that patients receive their medications in a timely and efficient manner.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and process new patient medication orders and reorders, verifying and revivifying benefits to ensure seamless delivery.
• Interact with patients, insurance companies, healthcare providers, and internal teams to resolve issues, address concerns, and facilitate the processing of specialty medications.
• Translate and enter new or refill prescriptions into the pharmacy information system, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
• Communicate and collect copay amounts, obtain authorizations, and work with insurance companies to screen, identify, resolve, and defer orders with accounts receivable or clinical issues.
• Demonstrate compassionate, genuine care for patients and customers, providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment.

Essential Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

• One year of experience in a customer service role, handling and resolving complex customer needs over the phone.
• Proficiency in Windows-based applications, including Microsoft Office, internet navigation, and email applications.
• One year of computer keyboarding experience, with strong skills and aptitude.
• A verifiable high school diploma or equivalent.

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications are highly preferred:

• Healthcare work experience, with familiarity with benefits, insurance, prescriptions, and medical terminology.
