Job Title: Quality Assurance Specialist III Certified Auditor
Duration: 3 Months (Possible Extension/Conversion)
Location: 100% Remote (Preference for EST Time Zone states; Texas also acceptable)
Position Overview
We are seeking a Quality Assurance Specialist III with strong healthcare claims and medical coding experience to support a high-volume care provider environment. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in claims auditing, procedure coding, and evaluation & management (E/M) coding.
Key Responsibilities
• Review and audit medical claims for accuracy and compliance
• Perform detailed medical records and chart reviews
• Ensure accuracy in procedure coding (CPT) and E/M coding
• Respond to claim adjudication issues and discrepancies
• Manage workflow processes using PowerApps
• Work within Conduent and Facets G6 systems
• Support documentation and reporting activities
• Utilize advanced MS Excel skills for data exports, analysis, and file manipulation
• Collaborate on large group claims using SharePoint
Required Qualifications
• Certified Coder (CPC, CCS, or equivalent required)
• Minimum 5 years of experience in claims processing, auditing, and medical billing
• Minimum 2 years of Quality Assurance experience
• Strong experience in procedure coding (CPT) and Evaluation & Management (E/M) coding
• Experience reviewing medical records and claims adjudication processes
• Proficiency in MS Excel
• Experience with Conduent, Facets G6, SharePoint, and PowerApps preferred
