Located in Spokane, WA, we invite applications for a full-time, tenure-track position as Assistant Professor in the Department of Teacher Education, specializing in the Master's in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (MA/TESOL) program. This role is a unique opportunity to contribute to the University's distinctive mission and be part of a community dedicated to preparing socially responsible professionals.

About the Role

The Assistant Professor, Teacher Education, will play a vital role in shaping the next generation of educators. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching core and elective courses in the MA/TESOL and ELL Endorsement programs, advising and mentoring students, and engaging them in meaningful community-based projects. This position requires a strong teaching and advising component, as well as a clearly articulated research agenda, to produce high-quality research outputs as part of the regular reappointment, promotion, and tenure process.

Compensation and Salary

The hiring salary for this position is $64,337-$68,626, commensurate with education and experience.
