AI Product Architect – Enterprise AI Platform (Agents, Workflows, Governance)
Role Overview
We are hiring a hands‑on Product Architect to design and build a vendor‑agnostic, enterprise AI platform comparable in ambition to AI‑native platforms (e.g., agent + workflow orchestration with production governance).
This role is for an architect who codes, prototypes, and ships—someone who can take responsibility for end‑to‑end platform architecture and implementation, including agents, workflows, orchestration, evaluation, governance guardrails, KPIs, observability, and tooling.
A core requirement: you have already architected and built (not just designed) an agent/workflow platform or framework with real production controls—so you can avoid predictable pitfalls in first‑time implementations (e.g., brittle orchestration, poor eval discipline, missing auditability, unclear KPI ownership, unmanaged cost/latency, ungoverned agent actions).
The platform must be built to leverage major vendor ecosystems (Microsoft/Azure, AWS, Databricks, etc.) via clean abstractions, enabling rapid adoption of vendor innovations without lock‑in or re‑architecture.
Primary Responsibilities
1) Hands‑On Platform Architecture + Implementation
2) Agentic Workflows + Orchestration (Production-Grade)
3) Governance, Controls, and KPI System (Not Optional)
4) Vendor-Agnostic, Framework-Pluggable Design
• Design the platform so it can use (and swap/upgrade) components from:
• Microsoft ecosystems (Azure AI, Fabric, identity/security stack)
• AWS ecosystems (Bedrock, SageMaker, data services)
• Databricks (data/ML/AI workflows)
• Other emerging AI infrastructure providers
5) Productization of Forward-Deployed Work
Required Qualifications (Hard Requirements)
10+ years building software platforms (distributed systems / cloud platforms / enterprise SaaS).
2+ years building agentic/workflow platforms using or integrating:
• Microsoft/AWS/Databricks ecosystem services (multi-cloud or pluggable architectures)
Hands-on: you can design and implement core platform code; you have shipped production systems.
Proven prior experience architecting and building an agent/workflow framework that included:
• orchestration
• governance/guardrails
• evaluation/quality gates
• observability/telemetry
• KPI definition and tracking
• Strong experience with enterprise constraints:
• security, identity, compliance, audit, data governance
