Strategy Collective is seeking an elite Account Strategist to serve as a marketing quarterback and trusted advisor for our private equity-backed healthcare clients. You'll manage a strictly capped client portfolio, giving you the focused time needed to move beyond order-taking and build a highly compensated, consultative career based on clear revenue milestones.
Description
Account Strategist / Senior Marketing Advisor (Healthcare)
Overview
We’re hiring elite Account Strategists to lead the charge on high-impact marketing programs for our portfolio of private equity-backed, multi-location healthcare clients. At Strategy Collective, we believe Account Managers are highly paid consultants, not order-takers.
In this role, you'll go beyond account management—you’ll serve as a strategic advisor and marketing quarterback, responsible for developing tailored growth plans, guiding execution, and building lasting client trust. If you know your way around both a marketing funnel and a boardroom, this one's for you.
The Capacity-Based Career Path
We have eliminated the guesswork from career advancement. Titles, raises, and promotions are no longer based on tenure or annual reviews. They are dictated entirely by mathematically proven capacity (Monthly Revenue Under Management). To step up a tier, strategists consolidate their portfolio, pitch enterprise retainers, and adhere to strict Client Caps to prevent burnout. We are currently hiring for the following levels based on your proven capacity and experience:
- Tier 2 (Account Strategist): $115,000 Base Salary, capped at 8 to 10 clients.
- Tier 3 (Senior Strategist): $130,000 Base Salary, capped at 6 to 8 clients.
- Tier 4 (Principal): $150,000 Base Salary, capped at 4 to 6 clients.
- Tier 5 (Client Partner): $175,000+ Base Salary, capped at 3 to 4 Enterprise clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead client relationships as the primary strategic and operational contact, adhering to strict client caps to ensure you have the deep, focused time required to act as an elite advisor.
- Proactively identify strategic gaps and pitch Statements of Work (SOWs) before the client requests them.
- Understand each client’s business goals, market dynamics, and growth priorities, and use those to shape custom marketing strategies.
- Develop and present integrated marketing plans across digital, content, and offline channels—with clear KPIs and budget allocation guidance.
- Collaborate with in-house experts in media, creative, web, and analytics to ensure cohesive execution and high performance.
- Monitor campaign performance, extract insights, and deliver data-driven recommendations during regular client strategy calls.
- Build trust with physician leaders, COOs, and PE sponsors by offering clear, confident counsel and demonstrating business fluency.
- Guide new initiative launches (e.g., new location openings, service line expansions, M&A rollouts) from planning through implementation.
- Act as the voice of the client internally to ensure our teams are aligned on priorities, tone, and messaging.
Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in marketing, with at least 2 years in a client-facing role at an agency or consultancy.
- Experience developing and communicating marketing strategy (not just executing someone else's).
- Strong understanding of digital marketing channels and performance metrics.
- Demonstrated ability to own client relationships and be seen as a trusted marketing advisor.
- Healthcare experience preferred, especially with multi-site provider groups or PE-backed organizations. Other multi-site experience, franchise experience, etc. also okay.
- Confident communicator—able to write, present, and advise with clarity and authority.
- Highly organized and capable of managing multiple client programs simultaneously.
- Proficient in marketing analytics and performance reporting tools; comfortable using data to drive decisions.
- Bachelor's degree required, MBA a plus; relevant certifications (HubSpot, Google, Meta, etc.) are a plus.
Compensation & Benefits Your base salary fully covers standard client service, account retention, and passive organic growth. In addition to our premium base salaries, we offer a highly lucrative and radically transparent variable compensation plan that rewards proactive portfolio expansion, hitting capacity milestones, and driving long-term client retention.
- Unlimited PTO (we don’t micromanage hours—we measure impact).
- Company holiday break between Christmas and New Year.
- Company-issued laptop and home office setup.
- Medical, dental, and vision insurance.
- 401(k) with up to 4% match.
- Paid parental leave.
