As a member of the Telemetry Services team, you will play a critical role in monitoring cardiac rhythms, identifying abnormalities, and communicating urgent or significant findings to providers. This position also supports the rhythm management department by assisting with remote pacemaker, ICD, ILR, and ICM checks, as well as processing Holter monitor results. You will serve as a key link between clinics, providers, and patients, ensuring timely, accurate, and effective cardiac monitoring. Process, analyze, interpret, and edit EKG data from Mobile Telemetry, Looping Event Monitors, and Holter monitors placed on CIS patients. Apply established protocols and notification guidelines to recognize cardiac rhythm abnormalities or symptoms, and communicate findings clearly to CIS providers. Facilitate open and professional communication with CIS offices, providers, and patients regarding critical, serious, or non-critical events. Serve as an educational resource for clinical and non-clinical staff, providers, and patients regarding monitoring services and utilization. Notify Emergency Services when critical rhythm disturbances are identified and patient contact cannot be established, ensuring patient safety and improved outcomes. Accurately document actions, care plans, and patient responses in the EHR/medical record in a timely manner. Assist with capturing and communicating device information between all CIS clinics and providers. High school diploma required. NCCT-NCET, CCT, or CRAT certification within one year of employment. Two years of experience in the cardiology field preferred. Completion of a certified medical program (LPN, MA, Telemetry, etc.) preferred. Strong attention to detail and ability to interpret cardiac rhythms accurately. Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey urgent clinical information effectively.
