Deliver safe, compassionate patient care within a dynamic telemetry unit located in Santa Ana, CA. This contract position offers a rewarding opportunity to apply your clinical expertise in nursing assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. Provide direct bedside care, support patient and family education, and collaborate closely with physicians to monitor and respond to changes in cardiac and overall patient conditions. Key Responsibilities: • Perform comprehensive nursing assessments and develop individualized care plans • Monitor telemetry cardiac readings and promptly report critical changes • Administer treatments and medications according to established protocols • Educate patients and families about health management and care plans • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality patient outcomes • Maintain accurate patient records using EPIC electronic medical records system Qualifications and Experience: • Current and valid state Registered Nurse (RN) license • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred • Skilled in ventilator management is a plus • Experience with EPIC EMR strongly preferred • COVID-19 vaccination and boosters highly recommended Contract Details: • Job Type: Contract • Location: Santa Ana, CA Santa Ana offers a vibrant community with a rich cultural backdrop, beautiful parks, and convenient access to Southern California’s attractions.
