Traveling Project Engineer Location: 100% project-based travel - United States Company: The Boldt Company – National Power & Industrial Anticipated Salary Range - $64,700 to $90,500 Boldt is hiring a Traveling Project Engineer with National Power & Industrial (NPI), you’ll support the delivery of complex renewable energy, power generation, and industrial projects across the U.S. This role offers hands‑on exposure to how large‑scale infrastructure is built—working closely with project managers and field teams from planning through execution. You’ll be actively involved in the work, gaining real‑world experience on active job sites while building a strong foundation for long‑term growth in project management and leadership. In this role, you’ll support project teams by coordinating drawings, specifications, RFIs, and submittals; tracking schedules, quantities, and cost information; and partnering with subcontractors, vendors, and internal stakeholders to keep work moving efficiently. You’ll participate in site walks, inspections, and construction activities to understand sequencing, quality, and safety expectations, while helping advance safety, quality, and production initiatives. This position requires regular travel to project sites and provides the opportunity to work across renewable, power generation, and industrial markets within a nationally recognized, employee‑owned organization. What You Bring - Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Construction Management, or a related field - Strong organizational skills and attention to detail - Proficiency with Microsoft Office - Strong communication skills and a collaborative, team‑first mindset - Ability to travel 100% to project sites.
